The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has proposed launching an experiment on marking condoms, medical masks, cosmetic fillers, and other products. This experiment may start as early as September 1, 2024, and last until August 31, 2025.

- Equipment for ozone, oxygen, and aerosol therapy
- Syringes and infusion systems
- Condoms and medical masks
- Implants for plastic surgery and cosmetology
- Test tubes and wipes
Expansion of tobacco product marking rules
The Russian government has expanded the rules for marking tobacco and nicotine-containing products. Now, raw materials for the production of tobacco products are also subject to mandatory marking. The resolution on this was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.
Producers of raw materials for tobacco products will be required to provide data to the state monitoring system for marked goods. This will help improve traceability of both raw materials and the products themselves.
Most of the resolution’s provisions will come into force within 30 days.
